Tear

An eye at the grave
Of the loved and buried
Of thoughts and memories
Of solitude and company
A tear

An eye at the window
watching a lonely street
Of promises broken
Of past and no future
Of loyalty and betrayal
A tear

An eye at the doorstep
Of old and new
Of bonds that grew
Of walls and peeling plaster
A tear

An eye at the bed
Of release and pain
Of calmness and the void
Of freedom and life
A tear

An eye at the cradle
Of promise and hope
Of innocence and care
Of warmth and contentment
A tear

An eye at the altar
Of relationships and rituals
Of joy and satisfaction
Of mirth and affection
A tear

An eye on the pillow
Of pain and pleasure
Of desire and lust
Of an orgasmic divine
A tear

An eye on the bench
Of bit lips and heart beats
Of anticipation and success
Of answers and rejections
A tear

An eye on the velvet
Of bioscopes and lives
Of ends and beginnings
Of chains and freedom
A tear

FAQues

First I apologise to the blogging community for my prolonged absence ( I am sure u didnt miss my presence...stop sneering !#$R!@$@#)

Among other inane things, I have managed to understand Menstrual Hygiene, Nose mining, Faculty Evasion and mastered the art of Zombied existence (it is pretty simple open your right eye, then your left, then SLEEP)

But what has caught my attention in the recent past are the interesting conversations I am draged into by many peers about my love life. I know that it has almost become my pet peeve to speak about it but this time i speak in earnest

There have been many interesting dialogues actually and they all are centered around my love life( no coincidence disclaimer here please) like...

There are friends whom I dont meet often except when i want a place to stay, they have interesting reactions

Yes, I am committed to her
YOU ARE IN LOVE
(no no i am not a clone, i said i am in love)

Yes I am committed
.....
Is that the ambulance?

I am in love
Hey that joke is from seinfeld

I am in love
huh??

I am in love
Who are you?

These are annoying, its not like i have gotten back from a space odyssey, I am committed thats all...
But the best parts follow. The curious ones are a pain in the rear

So u ahem (cough cough) did it huh?
Why? u want lessons?

Did you kiss her?
No we rub noses, she is an eskimo u see

So which base?
You better start your Home run dude

better still...

Are you seeing each other?
No we are visually impaired. You bother?

Do your parents know
Yea, it was in the papers last week. You should start reading eh

Then come the over concerned ones. They have the self conferred titles of Agony aunts and uncles. They are enthusiastic doormats. Even if you never had a problem, they still ahve the solutions

Dude, is everything okay with your relationship?
(No dude, my girl just turned into an octopus)

Ganty, I hope you guys are okay huh?
(No, I tested positive for cannibalistic tendencies)

I hope your sex life is good
(No, thats why We are plannign to get a dog)

I hope you guys dont make mistakes
( Can we copy??)

Do you love her as much as she loves her parents and you love yours and also as much as she loves yours and she hers?
HUH???

I think people in the maze know how difficult it is to come out and anyways who wants to come out. I am sure I am stuck for life and if this rabbit hole is gonna go any deeper, i want to drown in it...after all...being in love must count for something...
