A smile when it speaks
Speaks volumes of the heart
Stories unheard untold
Tales hidden crypted

A smile of pure innocence
A child when it sees its mother
A dewy bud and wet grass
Smiling at the sky their guardian

A smile of untouched joy
A parent seeing his offspring trod
The gosling learning its wings
A twinkle in the bird’s eye

A smile of satisfaction
When man has scaled the last peak
When each obstacle bows down in defeat
When he decides that he has won

A smile in quite approval
A shy bride hides her blush
A flower hiding behind the breeze
Swaying unseen and revealed

A smile of happiness
When the ephemeral reigns the mind
A passing moment like the early showers
The union of heart and body

A smile to disguise sorrow
A gloomy sky of clouds
But a betraying displaying of thunder
Celebration incongrurent

A smile of farewell
When the clouds bade good bye to drops
Knowing that they will return
Bereavement for a reunion
