Silence

Fresh linen, lively smell
The baby sleeps in oblivion
The mother casts a dreamy gaze
Words aren't created, silence is born

Another mischievous act
A meek look of anticipation
The eyes glower in anger
Words aren't allowed, silence punishes

Two in a cozy corner
Love unbridled flows
The eyes are lost in each other
Words are no more romantic, silence loves

The bells chime in harmony
The aisle is walked with emotion
The eyes have already said “I do”
The words have no conjugation, silence bonds

The chair it creaks wearily
Loneliness gives company
The eyes are looking beyond
The words don't satisfy here, silence fulfils

The last trip is taken
The dead end is reached
The eyes are shut in peace
Words can't cry here, silence mourns
